What organ keyboard simulator would you recommend?
I am in the market for a SIM card of organs, and can not decide between several different models: Korg CX-3 (vintage or new) Roland Roland VK-8 VR-760 I already have a Clavia Nord Electro 73, but I not impressed by the organ sounds. But the Rhodes and Wurly great noise ... I'm leaning more towards the Roland because they contain other sounds (Piano / Rhodes / synths) ... I wonder if the sound quality effects on the SIM card of organs, though. Any information on these models or suggestions for other would be greatly appreciated.
Wow, you really surprised me on this one. I have a 61 Electro2 Clavia. When I was shopping around, I played every other clone B3 I could get my hands on. Korg, Roland, Hammond / Suzuki, Viscount and Clavia. Clavia The probe was the best for me - When You get good combination of effects and AMP. He also had the best keyboard action group, which was important for me. You are also right to say & Rhodes Wurly sounds great, I use them often. I also have a Hammond A-100. It is a B3 in a different firm. When compared, the truth is that none of these clones are very close - even the Hammond / Suzuki air too clean. But there is no way I to lug around a 400 lb. body concerts! The key for the clones seems to be what kind of amp and effects you use with them. As with a real B3, you have all the chorus / vibrato settings and percussion, and even the overdrive for the dirty place. There is much to work with the whole council itself. It may be interesting to experiment with your negotiations before Clavia to another model.
