How can I learn to play the piano and sing at the same time?

Ok well I play the piano and everytime I try to play and sing at the same time I mess up the piano rhythm. Is there a special technique I can learn that will help me keep my rhythm steady while I sing?

Know the piano rhythm VERY well.
But it just takes lots of practice.

You will get it at some point. It's sorta like learn the matterial again.
You have to find what's comfortable for you and work at it.
