Zildjan or Sabian cymbals?!?
hey guys, this Christmas my parents asked me what i wanted.
i figured it was about time to get some new heads for my old set and a new set of cymbals i have been looking at cymbals on you tube and i am scared the sound quality of the video is going to throw me off. My style is metal core.
i would prefer zildjan or sabian, any insight? (All that i really need is a china, crash, hi hats, and a ride)
It's really personal preference. I use Sabian AA and AAX crash cymbals, AA ride, and Zildjian hi-hats (forget the name, ZBT or something like that). The AA is great for heavier music, but the AAX gives better resonation. I've never been a fan of Zildjian crash cymbals so I can't inform you of them, but I've never been disappointed by Sabian cymbals.
I have ZHT hi-hats, and I bought them on July 28th, 2008. The top hi-hat just cracked right down the center, but I bought those Sabian crash cymbals about a year ago and they're still fine. So i'm even less impressed by Zildjian.
