What kind of microphone technique was used to get the sound of the piano (and voice) on Imagine by John Lennon?

The song Imagine by John Lennon some interesting features as far as recording is concerned about the style. I like the way the piano comes second after 8 bars to fill, but this type of microphone is used in this room, how far, any processing or effects used? Etc. .. Im super curious.
