Can anyone say whats the problem with my headset microphone?
Hello everyone...Iam using comapaq laptop with windows vista...i have a headset microphone, when i connect it, my laptop doesnot detects the microphone..but i can hear music through headset.what should i do???

The program you are trying to use your microphone with...go through the setup of the programs audio/video settings. When You get to the microphone section...select the Mic you are using from the pull-down menu. If you are using an online program for the microphone...click the microphone icon and select the mic you are using.
