What Problems do you have with using a Guitar Stand?
is it heavy?
not safe?
scratches your guitar?
What material are your stands made from?
I have an acoustic Ovation guitar, and it fits just fine on the stand I have.The stand is made from some kind of steel, but it's not terribly heavy. It folds into itself, so it's compact and easy to pack in my Gig Bag. It's well padded, so it never scratches my guitar.
The only problem I have is that sometimes the Guitar Strap gets caught under one of the "arms" that hold the guitar, so I have to take the time to bend over and un-hook the strap from the stand. I don't remember the name of my guitar stand (I'm at work now - writing this answer on my lunch break), but if you want me to, I can let you know later today what kind it is.
